Shakerag Park is the largest in acreage and has a lake, playground and nature trail.

Schools

The city's residents are serviced by the Fulton County School System. Johns Creek High School, Northview High School, Johns Creek Elementary School and Findlay Oaks Elementary School each received GreatSchools.org's highest rating of 10 out of 10. State Bridge Crossing, Barnwell and Shakerag Elementary Schools each received a rating of 8. Holy Redeemer Catholic School, Mount Pisgah Christian School and the Woodward Academy are three of the private school options here.

Area Attractions

The Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center is a wonderful facility where visitors can learn about the history of the area, explore over two miles of wooded trails, and see several animal exhibits. Enjoy River Pines Golf, an 18-hole course situated along the river bank. It also has a 9-hole Par 3 course and is a great spot for all skill levels.
