The Johns Creek International Festival is being held this Saturday, April 27 from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm and will offer the opportunity to sample food from around the world, watch musical and dance performances, view international art and browse retail vendors.
Held at Heisman Field across from the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, this second annual Festival is free to the public and is a celebration of the best traditional food, music and art from our own backyard. According to the City of Johns Creek local government, Johns Creek is home to more than 83,000 people and is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the state and nation.
Plenty of food trucks will feature Asian, Indian, Mediterranean and Latin American food available for purchase as well as an international beer and wine garden. There will also be a global marketplace that will have works from cultural artisans and handcrafted art.
The Kids Zone will include face painting, cultural storytelling, art stations and plenty of other activities provided by the Johns Creek Arts Center. A musical stage will have sounds of Salsa, live drums, rock performances and instrumentalists from countries around the world.
Attendees can park onsite at the festival. You can enter the festival at the traffic light/intersection of Medlock Bridge Road and the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek. The entrance to the fields is directly across from the Atlanta Athletic Club. Handicap parking will also be available.
