It is easily one of the best dog parks in the nation. There are many features that make this dog park so special. Dogs and owners have an entire acre to explore. There is a separate area for large and small dogs. Artificial turf keeps dogs and owners clean and mud free. Sprinklers and a spraying hydrant keep dogs cool during the warm months and a bridge, hoops, and tunnels offer opportunities for exercise and fun. There is a shelter for getting out of the elements and water fountains for pets and owners. Rest on a bench or under a shade tree or get some exercise along the walking trail. Your Dog Will Make Friends with Other Pooches Near Your Doublegate Home

Dogs and their people can enjoy the dog park between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Just be aware that the park does not open until 10 a.m. on Wednesdays to allow for maintenance before it opens. All owners are responsible for their own pets and any injury caused by their dog. Before leaving your Doublegate real estate, make sure that your pooch has on their collar. A valid license and current vaccinations are required. Also, please leave any dog in heat or those under four months of age at your Doublegate home, as they are not allowed in the park. Children under 12 must be with an adult, and all owners must be directly supervising their dog at all times. Please be considerate of others and throw waste in the provided receptacles, close the gate of the park after entering or exiting, and do not bring any food or glass containers to the park.
