On Saturday, November 18th, people living in Johns Creek homes will be joining in a city-wide event in celebration of the area’s honorable veterans. Residents are already preparing the festivities for this Veteran’s Day Celebration, and the entire community is anticipating the patriotic event. Fittingly, the activities will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Walk in Newton Park, a beautiful piece of Johns Creek real estate, and the celebration is set to begin promptly at 10 a.m. There will be a time of recognition for all the local veterans, and then the Johns Creek Veteran’s Association will introduce its new board members as well. Music will be provided by The Mount Pisgah School Chorus, which has been practicing for this heart-warming event, and there will even be light refreshments for everyone who attends. The motto, “Honoring All Who Served” will truly be the headline of the day, and from the point that it begins until it ends at 11:30 a.m. the city’s vets will be the center of attention.
