Art lovers who live on Johns Creek real estate should mark their calendars for the sixth annual Johns Creek Arts Festival. The event will be held Saturday October 21st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday October 22nd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Artists from around the Southeast will be at the festival, some of whom work very close to Johns Creek homes. This will be a great opportunity to support the work of local artists and find artwork to decorate your home or give as a gift. Artists working in any medium will be present. Find paintings, photography, sculptures, pottery, metalwork, jewelry, and more. Local bands will provide live music throughout the festival, so be ready to dance, too.

This is also a fun way to introduce children to art. The artists will be available for questions, and work by students from area high schools will be on display. Kids can also have a blast in the Kidz Zone. They can create artwork of their own at tables set up by Arts on the Creek. Wiggly kids will enjoy the rides and inflatables for jumping. Plan to eat at the festival, as the food is part of the experience. The food court provides something for everyone and is located just across from the stage, so you can relax to the music while you eat.

The art festival is supported by many volunteers from Johns Creek real estate, and it’s a fun way to get to know the artists who participate. There’s still time to get involved, helping artists check in or manning their booth so they can get a break. Students ages 14 to 17 get in on volunteering, too.
