Johns Creek Community Safety Day will offer many tips and demonstrations to stay safe at your Johns Creek home and out in the community. Safety has always been high on the agenda of the City of Johns Creek. This event, featuring the Johns Creek Fire and Police departments, will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Bring the whole family to the State Bridge Crossing Shopping Center (Home Depot and Target parking lots) for this free event. There will be something for all ages including activities for children as well as food and drinks.
Make Sure Your Johns Creek Real Estate is Secure and Get Your Car Seats Checked, too
Stop in to learn more about staying safe in your Johns Creek home. Watch fire extinguisher presentations to make sure you know how to properly use them. This would also be a good chance to think about how many fire extinguishers are currently in your home and if they can be easily accessed. Ask questions to the police officers and firemen and put smiles on your children’s faces by allowing them to meet them. Have your car seats checked for proper installation and gather safety information and checklists for your Johns Creek real estate and when out in public. Think about changes that need to be made and address them as soon as possible.
Members of the North Metro S.W.A.T team will be on site with a demonstration as well as the K-9 unit. What a neat opportunity to learn more about groups you usually only hear about on the news. Watch a rope rescue and also learn about motorcycle safety. Learning more about basic safety issues helps not only keep you and your family safe, but also others in the community.
